Boiling water

A young woman went to visit her mother and told her that her life was so hard she did not know if she could continue.
She wanted to give up because she was tired to fight all the time.
His mother dragged her to the kitchen where she filled three pots with water which she put over a high heat. When the water began to boil, the mother put carrots in the first pot, eggs in the second and ground coffee beans in the third. She let them boil on the fire without saying a word.

After 20 minutes, she returned to the kitchen, took out the carrots and put them on a plate. She pulled the eggs and placed them in a bowl. Then she poured the coffee into a carafe.
Turning to her daughter, she said:
– Tell me, what do you see?
– Carrots, eggs and coffee, said his daughter.

The woman brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. The girl touched them and noted that they were soft and flexible. The mother then asked her to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell of an egg, she observed it was cooked hard. Finally, the mother asked her to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma.

The daughter then asked,
– What is your message mom?
The mother explained:
– Carrots, eggs and coffee beans have faced the same situation, boiling water. So why the result produced is different?

What is important is not the situation, but the way it is interpreted and approached.
Carrots came strong, hard and solid. But after the ordeal of boiling water, it became soft and weak.
The egg was fragile with liquid inside. But after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened.
As for coffee beans, they through the event, expressed the richness of their potential and succeed to change the water.
What will reveal the events you face?

Feet in boiling water, will you be carrot, egg or coffee?
